Step by step guidance and weekly practices for all aspects of the Upper Sec and O Level syllabus, complete with strategies that will help students to not just become well prepared for the examinations but also expand their thinking capabilities and understanding of current affairs.

This includes:

  • Paper 1 – Situational Writing and Composition

  • Paper 2 – Comprehension, Visual Texts 

  • Practices for Oral Examinations

Other specific materials such as TED Talks and resources like iThink magazines, news articles, etc are used to facilitate learning.

English Literature

O Level Literature will have equal emphasis on Unseen and Set Texts

For Set Texts: Chapter by chapter as well as character, thematic and topical studies on the text. Notes will be provided and student will learn critical analysis.

For Unseen Poetry, student will learn how to handle various devices and poetry styles to access any poem based on form, structure and theme. Materials provided and homework will be given if needed. I will follow the school syllabus side by side and add on where necessary.

Social Studies

Notes given for all Structured Response questions, including teaching students how to use to notes. It is important not just to memorise the notes but to learn how to use them across contexts.

Sample papers from various schools from Prelims and MYE.

Teaching students how to attempt and excel at Source Based Questions, especially the harder questions which many fear as they do not understand how to read between the lines.
